Fraud warning
Our company takes any information or suspicion of fraudulent activity very seriously. From time to time we find companies or individuals using our name, or names similar to ours, without our permission. That can cause confusion and spread false information about SQM Financerra and its services.
Why we publish this notice
Because people who try to deceive often take advantage of well-known brands and of the trust people place in them.
We want you to know what to expect from us and what not to. Publishing this warning lets us put our official channels in writing, explain the most common signs of fraud and give you somewhere to report anything that looks odd.
It also protects us: a cloned company that takes money or asks for data in the name of SQM Financerra harms the people affected and harms trust in the platform.
What we will never ask for
Your password, your second-step codes, API keys with withdrawal permission, remote access to your computer or deposits to third-party accounts.
Cloned companies
If you suspect you are dealing with a clone that uses our brand, name or logo, do not share personal information and let us know straight away by email.
How they usually operate
They copy the design of the site, buy a very similar domain, create social media profiles and contact people by messaging apps or phone. They promise guaranteed returns, demand urgent deposits or ask you to install remote-control software "to help you".
An offer that guarantees profit is itself a warning sign: no serious platform can promise results.

Pressure to decide today, spelling mistakes in official messages, requests to pay in crypto to a personal wallet or receipts you cannot verify.
How to verify
Type the address yourself in the browser and confirm by official email that the person who contacted you works with us.
What to do if you are contacted or have already shared data
- Cut off communication. Do not answer any more messages or calls from that person.
- Make no more payments. If you already made one, contact your bank or payment provider as soon as possible to ask for a block or a reversal.
- Change your passwords. Update any password you shared and revoke your API keys.
- Keep the evidence. Save screenshots, emails, phone numbers and receipts.
- Tell us. Write to [email protected] with those details.
- Report it. You can file a report with the Investigations Police (PDI) or Carabineros, or with the Public Prosecutor's Office.
We work continuously to identify cloned companies, but some may go unnoticed for a while. That is why we recommend always checking the legitimacy of any company you deal with online before sharing personal data or starting any business relationship.
We are aware that our name and details can be misused for fraudulent purposes, something we cannot control. We deeply regret the losses of anyone who has suffered them, but SQM Financerra is not responsible for fraudulent transactions carried out in its name by third parties unconnected with the company.
