Terms of use
These conditions govern the use of the SQM Financerra website and services. By browsing or registering, you accept them. Read them calmly: they explain what you may do, what you may not and where our responsibility ends.
SQM Financerra is an informational and technology platform. Transactions in financial instruments are carried out with duly authorised third parties, such as the exchanges you connect your account to, and not with this website.
1. Use of the website and services
You may use the site to learn about us, to register, to contact our team and to use the analysis tools we offer. To open an account you must be over 18, have legal capacity and provide truthful information.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for whatever happens from your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, tell us immediately.
We may ask you to verify your identity at any time, and to make the use of certain features conditional on completing that process. Each person may hold one personal account, which cannot be transferred or shared with third parties.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify or distribute the site, or try to obtain its source code, unless the law allows it. Nor may you use it for purposes other than those intended or get around its security measures or usage limits.
You also may not use automated programs to extract information from the site, or present yourself to third parties as our representative without written authorisation.
3. Advertising materials and communications
The content of the site, including simulations and user opinions, is for information and promotional purposes and is not financial advice or a promise of results. With your authorisation, we may send you news by email or phone. You can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Calculation examples show illustrative figures with the sole purpose of explaining how the tool works. You must not read them as a prediction of the outcome of your investment.
4. Intellectual property
The brands, logos, texts, designs, illustrations and software of SQM Financerra are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. Third-party brands belong to their owners and are mentioned only as a reference. You are granted no licence beyond personal use of the service.
5. Privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Links
The site may contain links to third-party pages. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or policies. Including a link does not mean that we endorse the linked site.
7. Prohibited use
It is forbidden to use the site to break the law, send spam, impersonate other people, provide false information, attack or overload the infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or infringe intellectual property rights. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.
If we close an account for a breach, we will tell you the general reason and how to withdraw the funds that are due, provided the law and verification processes allow it.
8. Support
Support is provided through the channels shown on the contact page, during the hours stated there. We do our best to reply quickly, but times are indicative.
Support staff help you use the platform, but they do not make investment decisions for you and cannot guarantee results. If what was said on the phone differs from what is published on the site, what is published prevails.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the services are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the information is free of errors, complete or always up to date, nor that the service will run without interruption. We also do not guarantee profits or investment results. Trading crypto assets involves risks described in the risk disclosure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SQM Financerra will not be liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, losses arising from investment decisions, failures of third parties (exchanges, payment providers, network connections) or force majeure. This limitation does not affect the non-waivable rights that Law No. 19,496 gives consumers.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold SQM Financerra harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or of the law, including use of the service with false information or for unlawful purposes.
12. Other provisions
We may change these terms. Changes apply from the moment the updated version is published on the site, and continuing to use the service means you accept them. If any clause proves invalid, the others remain in force. These terms are governed by the laws of Chile and, for any dispute, the courts of Santiago will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
